Part 2: Instruction Preparation


Class Context: This class consists of 21 kindergarten students. Two of the students are learning English, and both demonstrate
solid conversational English skills but often require support for academic language. Two students have an IEP, and
one has a 504 plan. There are two paraprofessional present for the small group portion of this lesson. There are 16
boys and 5 girls within the class.

In previous lessons, the students have worked with pointing out different counties and learned how to spell
