The effectiveness of blended learning

to student’s academic performance

Blended learning is a type of teaching strategy that most of the students

haven't experienced yet. With CoVid-19 still progressing in our society, we can't
assume that the student's safety will be assured if the school will conduct a face to
face discussion.

The School have been implementing variations of blended learning with e-

materials made available online. These elements usually include assigned readings
and learning tasks that students can complete at their own pace but following study
guides or instructions provided together with downloadable reference materials
and/or links to online resource submission of completed tasks or outputs is via email
google classroom among other to set deadlines. Technology has made it possible to
provide a diverse range of learning resources and interactions to enhance student
learning in both online and modular methods. This guide provides teachers with a
framework to design and develop courses with online and face-to-face components
to offer the flexibility for addressing different learner preferences

Despite the fact that blended learning had existed before to this period,
several pupils had never heard of it because some students are still adjusting to
blended learning needs, their coping mechanisms are required. Furthermore,
because of the stressful events brought on by the new pace of learning, which have
had negative impacts on students physical and emotional well-being, they must learn
coping methods to help them maintain control and thrive in school.

Students problems, according to (Essel and Owusu, 2017), can be controlled

by introducing a stress management class and participating in extracurricular
activities all of the research listed above demonstrated that students face numerous
challenges throughout their life. Some of their challenges are tied to school, while
others are not, but they all have an impact on their performance and self-perception.
We may reasonably assume that students are struggling right now, considering the
current predicament that the entire world is suffering due to the Covid-19 pandemic
and the move from traditional face-to-face schooling to distant education. If these
struggles are not mitigated, students may resort to negative solutions such as
suicide, depression, anxiety, or addiction.
Some of their challenges are tied to school, while others are not, but they all
have an impact on their performance and self-perception. .Teachers should ensure
that they are introducing their lessons while infusing excitement into new routines for
students to like the new learning frameworks so that their strengths and ability to
stand out are stressed. Teachers can use one-of-a-kind projects in which pupils
recognize the importance of and desire to participate in an activity. Instructors can
utilize games as an instrument for students to learn, whether online or offline.
