ASTRA OLE Part III - Group 8

1) Building of stoves and the subsequent training program could be put up in MNREGA
scheme of the central government
2) Public service announcements could be done imparting the knowledge of how to use the
stove properly
3) Cook books/ Charts illustrating the recipes and the correct usage ot stove could be
distributed in the villages.
4) Waterproof coating could be done on the stove itself or a cover in umbrella shape could
be added on the design of the stove.
5) Villagers could be invited to the design thinking process of ideating newer models for
Astro Ole. This would be beneficial for the various recipe models leading to a sleeker
design, and more impact on the villagers as they would associate themselves with the
Astro ole stoves and would be inclined to use them more.
