The following are reminders to all examinees as regards the conduct of the Final Departmental
Examination (FDE):

1. The examination for three-unit course has a time limit of 120 minutes (2 hours), while a six-unit
course has a time limit of 180 minutes (3 hours). The examinee is given only one attempt to complete
the entire examination wherein all the questions will be shown one at a time.

2. It is prohibited to take pictures or screen shots of any part of the FDE.

3. All FDE questions are NOT locked. This will allow the examinee to go back to previous questions
and review before finalizing his/her answers.

4. Use of laptop or desktop with a webcam is preferred. Mobile devices may be used in the absence
of a laptop or desktop. Examinees are required to open their webcams for the entire duration of the
examination.

5. When using a mobile device, access Canvas via web browser.

6. No examinee shall GO OUT of the Canvas quiz-taking page at any time once the examination
hasbeen started.An examinee may use calculator, worksheet, and writing materials if needed.

7. A meeting invite will be sent by the assigned proctor to all examinees thru the assigned UE email
accounts. For mobile device users, ensure that you have installed a Google Meet app before taking
the exam.

8. The assigned proctor must be informed immediately of any concern or issue that may be
encountered during the exam (e.g. power outage, loss of internet access, technical issues within
Canvas, etc.).

9. Scores of the FDE will not be shown after submission of answers.

10. A list of examinees who garnered the ten (10) highest places for each course/exam will be released
on January 4, 2022.
