The Fox and the Goat

Beginning - A Fox fell into a well, and though it was not very deep, he found that he could not get out
again. After he had been in the well a long time, a thirsty Goat came by. The Goat thought the Fox had
gone down to drink, and so he asked if the water was good.

End - The Goat thought the Fox had gone down to drink, and so he asked if the water was good. So,
good-bye.” A fox and a goat went down by consent into a well to drink, and when they had quenched
their thirst, the goat fell to hunting up and down which way to get back again.

Post Test

A Fox fell into a well, and in spite of the fact that it was not exceptionally profound, he found
that he may not get out once more. After he had been within the well a long time, a parched Goat came
by. The Goat thought the Fox had gone down to drink, and so he inquired in case the water was good.
“The finest within the entire country,” said the crafty Fox, “jump in and attempt it. There's more than
sufficient for both of us.” The parched Goat promptly bounced in and started to drink. The Fox fair as
rapidly hopped on the Goat’s back and jumped from the tip of the Goat’s horns out of the well. The silly
Goat presently saw what a situation he had got into, and asked the Fox to assist him out. But the Fox
was as of now on his way to the woods. “If you had as much sense as you've got whiskers, ancient
fellow,” he said as he ran, “you would have been more cautious approximately finding a way to induce
out once more sometime recently you hopped in.”
