ASSIGNMENT: REFLECTION “HOW TO BE A TEACHER”.

“ AKO ANG NANAY MO SA SCHOOL”

This part of video has put me into tears and touched my

heart. This part shows how lovely the teacher is in spite of
his appearance at the beginning of the video. As a teacher I
need both discipline and love. I can’t only show love without
discipline because they will not learn to survive and perform
excellently. On the other hand I can’t only show discipline
because they will feel afraid then there is no room for me to
enter their life situation.

How amazing it is to be a teacher. The children are not your

children but you love them as yours. They are not your
family but you sacrifice your time, energies, and knowledge
to teach them every day, ako ang nanay mo sa school.

This video also remind me as a future teacher to be the

source of inspiration to my students. To spent time and talk
to them means a lot for them. This simple act might bring
changes to their life. It is very important to know the
situation or what happen with my students, not only in the
school but also in the house or family. It is my responsibility
to know the reasons behind his/her low performances in the
school.

Yes it is very true that in teaching I am not only teaching the

subject but the person that you are facing. That all po
ma’am and thank you very much.
