Ahead of extreme poverty, unemployment, the rising cost of food and energy, climate change,
and terrorism, corruption is one of the biggest global issues. It is considered as a principal cause
of poverty around the globe. Corruption is as old as humanity itself, and then considers why the
international community has only highlighted it as a problem in the past two decades. It explores
the phenomenon from several different perspectives, such as the cultural differences effect
how corruption is defined, its impact, its various causes, and the possible remedies. Moreover, it
has a significant impact on the lives of ordinary people. Another important form of corruption is
extortion. Extortion means obtaining property, money or services through illegal means.
Extortion takes place by taking advantage of individuals through coercion, threats or influence. It
is very similar to blackmailing. One of the oldest forms of corruption is nepotism and favoritism.

government must take strict measures to implement existing laws against it and if the need arises,

Tourism in its modern incarnation is a uniquely twentieth-century phenomena. _According

to_ historians, during the industrial revolution the emergence of the middle class and the
availability of relatively affordable transportation ushered in popular tourism in England.
_Thus_, the rise of the commercial airline sector and, later, the invention of jet aircraft in the
1950s, marked the fast growth and spread of international travel after World War II. _Hence_ of
this expansion, a huge new business emerged: tourism. _Furthermore_, international tourism
has been a source of worry for a number of global governments. _In short, it provides new job
opportunities and generates revenue. Moreover, travel and tourism are one of the largest
segments of the service industry, therefore largely unrecognized as an entity in some of these
countries. At the same time, this industry has the world’s largest employer almost 130 million
jobs, or almost 7 per cent of all employees. Although, it is producing over 6 per cent of the
world’s national product and accounting for capital investment in excess of $422 billion direct
indirect and personal taxes each year. As a result, tourism has a profound impact both on the
world economy as well as on society due to its educative effect.
