Tourist guide: Well, You’re now free to do what you want until one o’clock this afternoon.
Remember to get back here at one o’clock, then we will visit Bournemouth Zoo.
Tourist: Where can we get something to eat?
Tourist guide: There are lots of places to eat in Bournemouth. The seafood café near the entrance of
the supermarket is good but we all will probably eat at a Fast food restaurant near the park. It takes
you only five minutes to walk from the restaurant to the park.
Tourist: Do the meals cost a lot there?
Tourist guide: No, you can eat for about six pounds and the meals are large.
Tourist: What other places are good for lunch?
Tourist guide: Well, there’s a hotel not far from the supermarket. It’s called the Blue Sky Hotel –
you can get an excellent three-course lunch for only eight pounds and forty pence.
Tourist: What time does the hotel restaurant open?
Tourist guide: It’s open between twelve thirty and half past three.
Tourist: I don’t want to go to a restaurant. I want to go shopping.

Man: Jones Department Store, can I help you?
Woman: Yes, please. I saw your job advertisement in the newspaper. Can you tell me about it?
Man: Certainly. We want a shop assistant to work in our women’s department selling coats. It’s a
small department but a busy one.
Woman: And what are the working hours?
Man: Well, the shop opens at nine o’clock but the assistants must start work at eight thirty. You need
to work seven hours a day.
Woman: That means I will finish my work at three thirty.
Man: That’s right. Three thirty.
Woman: Is that every day of the week?
Man: We are closed on Monday and we don’t need any more staff on Saturday or Sunday. The job is
four days a week, from Tuesday to Friday.
Woman: Four days a week? And how much do assistants earn an hour?
Man: At the moment it’s six pounds twenty -seven. I’m afraid we don’t pay you for your lunch break.

Now that the course is finished, you can relax and I think you'll be very interested in what we've got
planned. As usual, tonight is Friday night down at Sam's Disco. Tonight's going to be a bit special,
because Sam is 30 today, and we'll be having a big birthday party there. The next morning is the
time for some outdoor activities. We've arranged a football match in South Park at 10 o’clock, and if
you are interested in basketball, you can go to the Sport Centre at 9. On Saturday afternoon, we will
go to the beach and have a music party until night. We’ve tried to hold a Jazz music party but
unfortunately we couldn’t prepare enough trumpets, so we will have a guitar music party instead.
Sunday will be the last social event and we're having a picnic in Thornton Forest. Don’t forget to
bring along your cameras if you want to take some photos. Now, are there any
questions…………………………

Hello, my name is Minh Anh, now I will tell you about some steps to make our English vocabulary
better. For me, I have some tips to improve English words myself. The first one is to read and do
vocab exercises. I often surf Facebook or YouTube after dinner. Plus, I usually practice some extra
English exercises, and read some English books. The second step is watching videos on YouTube
about this topic. This can help me to know more words. The next step is practicing English myself
after watching videos. Finally, making new friends from many countries is another good way to
enlarge my vocab. They give me a lot of information as well as new interesting words about different
things. I want to travel around the world one day, and I make sure that learning English vocabulary
is my first preparation.
