Photoshop record

First I chose my photo and uploaded it onto Photoshop creating a new page of a width
in 20 centimetres and a height of 30 centimetres.

After I had imported my picture into photoshop I selected the crop button on the tool
slide and cropped my picture nearly half way so that her pattern on the top she was
wearing is selected and visible. This is in order to move onto the next step.
The next step after cropping my photo was to change the colour saturation and to do
this I clicked the image button on the top corner and selected adjustments. This would
allow me to make any adjustments to the picture whether I wanted to make it a
different colour or different exposure levels. Using this I selected black and white
which would de saturate the picture leaving it in black and white filter look.

After this I selected the cropped image and moved in to my original image. When
moving it to my original image the cropped image over layered and I was able to
move it into a lined up position so that it fit with the original image. This was so I
could make a small black and white section on the main image to make it stand out.

The colour difference between the black and white and the original image didn’t make
a huge statement and it just wasn’t bold enough so I decided to make the original
image a single colour with a bold pink that bounced of the surface of the image so that
the cropped black and white image would stand out more. In order to do this, I used
the colour balance adjustment mode and to get it you go to image, then press
adjustments and when you press it a number of different selections and you press the
one that says colour balance. There you are taken to this small sized tab and you are
able to play around with the colour of picture. This created my final image of an
exaggerated fashion magazine that gains the attention of the audience with the centre
discolouration.
