Esta obra fue escrita en el año 2000.


El nombre de la obra alude a Inti, el Dios Sol de los Incas y está construida en base a 3 secciones, con ideas que
aluden tanto melódica como rítmicamente a temas que, si bien no son extraídos del acervo incaico en forma pura,
utilizan giros que aluden a esta civilización.
El compositor no pretende en esta obra hacer etnomusicología, si no, que toma, raíces, ritmos y mitología como
fuente de inspiración para desarrollar su propio lenguaje, como una especie de folklore imaginario.
La primera sección es una especie de invocación y está marcada libre y rapsódica y se desarrolla en un diálogo
entre la flauta y el piano.
La segunda sección, marcada misterioso, es una especie de canto, que poco después desemboca en una cadencia,en
la que la flauta queda sola y demuestra todo el virtuosismo, exigiendo al instrumento e instrumentista el máximo de
sus posibilidades, llevando esta cadencia hacia la tercera sección, que es una danza frenética de gran fuerza rítmica,
con la que finaliza la obra.
El estreno mundial de "Inti" se realizó en el - 7 ° Festival de Música Latinoamericana - Fort Worth - Texas, EE. UU por el
grupo CAMINOS DEL INKA: Jessica Warren-Acosta (flauta), Gloria Lin (piano) el 16 de noviembre de 2009 enel Salón de
recitales de Pepsico Universidad Cristiana de Texas Fort Worth, Texas.

ESTEBAN BENZECRY (b 1970)

Esteban Benzecry es uno de los compositores argentinos más interpretados y comisionados de su generación.
Llegó a la atención internacional en 2010 cuando su tríptico que representa las culturas precolombinas de los aztecas,
mayas e incas, Rituales Amerindios (comisionado por la Sinfónica de Gotemburgo) fue estrenado por Gustavo Dudamel,
y luego interpretado por la Orquesta Sinfónica Simón Bolívar en Carnegie. Hall, Nueva York, Royal Festival Hall, Londres
y Concertgebouw, Amsterdam. Sus obras más recientes intentan fusionar ritmos de inspiración latinoamericana con la
estética diversa de la música contemporánea europea para crear un lenguaje personal y un folclore imaginario.

Sus obras han sido interpretadas por la Filarmónica de Nueva York, Los Ángeles y Helsinki, The Philadelphia Orchestra,
Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Deutsche Radio Philharmonie, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre National de France,
Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Orquestra Gulbenkian, Orquesta Nacional de España y Orquesta Sinfónica de
RTVE, además de prestigiosas orquestas de toda Latinoamérica.

La obra orquestal más interpretada de Benzecry es Colores de la Cruz del Sur (2002), que ha sido interpretada más de
60 veces en todo el mundo y fue grabada por la Orquesta Sinfónica de Fort Worth bajo la batuta de Miguel Harth-Bedoya.
Entre las obras orquestales recientes destacan el Concierto para violonchelo estrenado por Gautier Capuçon,
y MADRE TIERRA, ambos comisionados por Radio France, el Concierto para piano estrenado por Sergio Tiempo
y comisionado por la Filarmónica de Los Ángeles, su Concierto para violin estrenado por Nemanja Radulovic
y De otros cielos, otras mares… para coro y orquesta encargado a cargo de la Orquesta y Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid.

Sus conciertos para violin, clarinete y ciclo de canciones para soprano y orquesta han sidos grabados por el sello
NAXOS Records por la Lviv National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra de Ucrania bajo la batuta de Pablo Boggiano.

Nacido en Lisboa, Portugal en 1970 de padres argentinos, Benzecry creció en Argentina donde estudió composición con
Sergio Hualpa y Haydée Gerardi. Se trasladó a París en 1997, donde estudió con Jacques Charpentier y Paul Méfano en el
Conservatorio de París. Se convirtió en ciudadano francés en 2011.

Benzecry ha recibido numerosos premios de la Académie des Beaux-Arts de l'Institut de France, la Asociación Argentina
de Críticos de Música, la Fundación Guggenheim, Nueva York, y el Premio Konex de Platino como el compositor argentino
más importante de la década 2010-2019. entre otros.
