1 LIVE/WORK CONTAINER HOME
This project involved combining 3 shipping containers into a unique and sustainable live/work textile shop
in a neighborhood/site of our choosing, following LEED ND Smart Locations & Connected and Open
Communities. It involved manipulation of space, sustainability, respect of the Navajo clients’ background and
culture, and research on location and building typology.

Group Project (my tasks): Revit Model, Enscape/Renderings, Research (LEED ND, B3, Precedents,
Site/Context)

2 ADAPTIVE REUSE RESTAURANT
This project adapts the old Ford Center warehouse into an up-and-coming restaurant in downtown North
Loop and capitalizes on nearby attractions like Target Field and other trendy restaurants. Through careful
planning and manipulation of sustainability, respect of building history/architecture, and research on the
location, this restaurant provides a unique experience through the upscale, Minnesota-inspired brand “Neo +
North” in order to survive the competitive food scene.

3 AIREA STUDIO WORK CAFE
This project required the design of an engaging, multi-functional, collaborative workspace for AIREA, Inc. in
the downtown Minneapolis North Loop area; using research, the Haworth furniture line, and digital design
tools including SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Dimension, I was able to fulfill implementation
of my concept, “Business at Play.”

4 EARLY INTERVENTION PRESCHOOL
This project involved deigning a preschool catered to the unique needs of children on the autism spectrum
(and those not on the spectrum) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the Northeast Growth and Development
Center (NEGD). It focused on refining hand drawing/sketching skills, initially working on quick perspective
sketches and later moving toward line-weight and marker rendering. It also introduced digital design
tools and showed how they can be used in tandem with hand drawing/rendering techniques. Finally,
it demonstrated the importance of researching while designing for populations with different abilities/
backgrounds.
