Sakhi Hassan Street
▫ This area is known particularly
for the politician, Rashid Khan,
who hails from this area and is
popular for his journalistic
contributions. This densely
populated area houses notable
markets nearby such as the
Serena Mobile Market and Haron
Shopping Mall.

▫ Running along the Sakhi Hassan

Graveyard, which was established
in the late 60s, this
(approximately) 2,900 ft long
two-way street suffers from
grave neglect.
2
Albeit being a two way road, only a single side is
usable due one side being completely thrashed (left).
This causes most people to use the wrong side for
both ways i.e the right side in the picture below.

Trash dumping is common There are no footpaths acting There is also no boundary
in the drainage ditches, as a boundary to the roads, around the drainage canals,
which are left completely and trash is littered along the making it unsafe to walk
open, causing a foul odour to center drainage, and gutter along
spread eruptions are common

Other problems include
▫ Exposed hanging
electrical wires,
hazardous during rains
▫ Trash burning,
