A very good morning to the principal, teachers and

friends. My name is SARSSHANA. I am here today to give a

speech on the ways to protect the environment.

Firstly, to keep the environment clean we must rake

the dry leaves and clean the drains to prevent the
breeding of aedes mosquitoes. We can work with our
family, friends and neighbours. As the saying goes many
hands make light work.

Next, we must recycle old newspaper, bottles and

aluminium cans to save the natural resources. We can
stay free by recycling. The supermarkets must also install
recycling bins for old newspaper, bottles and aluminium
cans.

Apart from that, we must throw rubbish in the rubbish

bins. We must avoid littering and make sure the
environment is clean. We can also find dustbins at every
nook and corner.

Lastly, we must plant more trees. No living things can

survive without oxygen. It is very important to grow trees
as it balances the amount of oxygen and carbon dioxide.
We can clean the environment until it is spink and span.

Last but not least, I would like to say recycle, reuse and
reduce in order to reduce the amount of waste sent to the
landfills and go green to save our planet. Thank you for
lending me your ears.
