Hip hop movement

Javier:  good morning teacher and classmates, our presentation is a parody of

American Got Talent, tankiu for you attention.
Javier: Welcome to cen got talent¡¡¡¡, today we have the finalists, who will be the next
star¡¡¡¡¡. So tell me Camila what is today's theme?

Camila:Thanks Javier, well dear public, then I will give you a small introduction about
what is the Hip Hop Movement, the Hip Hop movement is a social movement of the
late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries in the United States, this movement have
five elements: Rapping, breakdancing, DJ, Graffiti and Master of Ceremony.

Javier:  tankiu camila, yes i love the music of the hip hop moviment my favorite singer
is ICE CUBE  We have 3 finalists competing for the top prize, the participant number
one, a singer with a great voice,maybe she will be the next star¡¡ . REBECA CASTILLO
impersonating Lauryn Hill

Javier: applause for participant number 1 “APPLAUSES”

Rebeca: My name is Lauryn Hill, I was born in East Orange, New Jersey in 1975. I am
an American singer songwriter, rapper, and record producer. I am considered as one of
the greatest rappers of all time. I was known for being a member of Fugees and her solo
album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, which became one of the best-selling albums of all-
time.

Javier: she has a very nice voice. tell me camila what do you think about rebeca's
impersonation.

Camila: Woah Rebecca!!! I really liked your voice,I think that you will reach a very high
level. You remind me of good times from my childhood, tell me who inspired you to
continue singing.
 
Rebeca: My parents are my inspiration because my father was a singer and my mother a
piano player.

Javier: Rebecca I think you have a sensational voice and you can become a great singer
and have an excellent career as a soloist. You just need a better handle on the highs and
lows.

Camila: Next present the second finalist, his name is Carlos Manzano, he is 20 years old
and he lives in Guayaquil.
“APPLAUSES”
Carlos: My name is Darryl Mccray, better known by Cornbread, I’m a graffiti writer from
Philadelphia. I am considered the world’s first modern graffiti artist. During the late 1960s, a
group of friends and I started doing graffiti by writing our names on walls across the city.
The movement spread to New York City. However, I have developed a close relationship
with The Philadelphia Mural Arts Program. I am a public speaker and a youth advocate.

Camila:Carlos, I liked your graffiti, but tell me about that artistic expression in which it
contributes to society, because I know only the people who do it classify them as vandals
or criminals, so what do you think Javier, do you agree or not?.
Carlos:

Javier: Wow Camila that was strong, and I think the same, art is an excellent form of
protest, Carlos you know scratching walls is illegal, in this case Carlos I like your art and I
hope you will go far. don't let the police arrest you

Ok ok and now we have our last participant, she is a singer, with a nice voice our next
participant is evelyn.
“APPLAUSES”
Evelyn: My name is, I was born on November 10, 1978, My nickname is Eve, I am an
American rapper, singer, songwriter, actress, television presenter, and talk show hostess
from Philadelphia. I had success with the singles, "Let Me Blow Ya Mind", "Who's That
Girl", and "Gangsta Lovin'". 

Camila: Hello Eve, beautiful voice. I liked your presentation, if I have heard those songs
they are really beautiful. Javier, I think we have a difficult decision, don't you think?

Javier: Well, yes I believe we have a very difficult decision, EVE you have demonstrated
many times you're a good singer but now maybe you're nervous .I believe you will be a
great rapper in the future.  So now Camila tells me who will decide the winner?

Camila: For me, the winner is Rebecca.

Javier: ok ok  my favorite is evelyn but carlos did very well

Cmil: but to reach a tiebreaker, we will have to ask for the public vote, so please public vote
for your favorite.
