Martin Luther King Jr. was born in Atlanta in 1929.

He was a Baptist pastor, social activist and

fighter for the civil rights of African-Americans. He was always against violence, unlike other
activist groups. And that is why his work was recognized with the Nobel Peace Prize.

i am going to talk about the purpose of his speech "i have a dream".

the purpose of his speech was to denounce all the atrocities and abuses suffered by african
Americans, and by all the racial conflict of the last hundred years of american history, and to
demand the justice and freedom because at the they are american citizens.

and now I am going to read the best moment of the speech, his speech was very political.

And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a
dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

this is the best moment of the speech, because it is where he says his most famous phrase for
the first time.
