Virtues of learning the Noble Quran

Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will receive one
good deed as ten good deeds like it. I do not say that alif-lam-meem
is one letter, but rather alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and meem is a
letter.
(Tirmidhi)

One who is proficient in reciting the Qur’an is associated with the


noble, pious (angels) scribes. As for he who stammers when reciting
the Qur’an and find it difficult for him, he will be granted a double
reward.

Raise the back of the tongue to touch the soft
palate (hanging peace of meat).
This letter is pronounced full mouth.
QUR’AAN
‫ك‬

ْ‫خُصَّ ضَ َغطٌ ِقظ‬


When the back of the tongue touches a little
bit of the soft palate and hard palate (like Qaaf
but a little forward towards the mouth)
Like the English word
CAMEL
‫ل‬

ْ‫خُصَّ ضَ َغطٌ ِقظ‬


Touch the tip of the tongue to the palate ,
like the word
ISLAM
‫م‬

ْ‫خُصَّ ضَ َغطٌ ِقظ‬


Join the outer dry part of the lips together and
then say this letter
like the word
Muslim
‫ن‬

ْ‫خُصَّ ضَ َغطٌ ِقظ‬


Touch the tip of your tongue to the hard palate
like the English word

It is the partial meeting of the lips:- round your
lips and say this letter.

It comes from the bottom of the throat near
chest , breathe in some air, breathe more air
and say this letter like the word

This letter comes from the bottom of the throat which is
closer to the chest and further from the mouth.
This letter is known as hamza, but it is pronounced as an
a’. like the English word

Raise middle of the tongue towards the palate
but do not touch the palate and say this letter.

‫اللهُمَّ ا ْه ٌِين ََّو َس ٌِٰ ْد ِ َّين‬
O Allah guide me and keep me on the right path.
