In this class we have discussed the needs of the individual. It is believed the best way to be
successful, happy and healthy is to build on a strong foundation (physiological) and work our
way up to reaching our full potential (self-actualization).

As Canadians, we are often told to turn to our government for assistance in meeting our needs.
However, how do we access these government assistances?

the following ways. It helps give you a piece of mind because when you don’t have enough
money to pay bills it can stress someone out and in turn cause anxiety. It helps with
physiology because you can buy more and healthier food, bigger houses and more clothes.
Being good with money assists with safety needs because you can buy more security systems
for you house car etc.

Personal Budget:
Now that you are done the work package, I hope you can see how much information can be
found on the Government of Canada website. All of this was just based on one article!
Your last task in this booklet is to look at the budget planner included on the Government of
Canada website (https://itools-ioutils.fcac-acfc.gc.ca/BP-PB/budget-planner).
Take a minimum of 10 minutes to input your information in the budget planner and design a
budget for yourself. Take a picture of your budget afterwards and include the image here.
