The scenario is plagued by several problems, the first of which is the email, which

Ashley and Liz unintentionally received from the doctors. Clearly, there is prejudice against

female nurses in this conversation, and it is against the law. Gender discrimination exists,

manifested in preferential treatment accorded to men, even though they constitute a tiny part of

the professional population. Ashley and Liz should never have remained silent and should have

promptly notified HR of the situation after receiving the information.

Ashley's health problems as a result of her pregnancy are the next challenge to confront

her. Megan's action was unlawful, unethical, and unacceptable, and she has the right to request

medical accommodations, as she has said. Ashley only would have to go to HR to file a

complaint against Megan since Megan declined to make accommodations for her. It was only by

acquiring an accommodation letter from her gynecologist and giving it to HR and Megan that

Ashley could have avoided this situation entirely. Megan's decision to fire Ashley was illegal.

Ashley might file a lawsuit against the hospital alleging that she was wrongfully terminated, and

Megan could be fired for the same reason.

As no work culture made people feel safe and comfortable, workplace safety was not

guaranteed. When all team members can inform their coworkers and bosses about their struggles

and how best to support them, communication opens up, and misunderstandings are smoothed

out, paving the path for high productivity (Leuter et al., 2018). Ashley tried working at her

station, but it was excruciatingly unpleasant. She spoke to a human resources representative

about getting accommodations to her desk since she was concerned about her health. This

demonstrates Ashley's ability to communicate effectively at work. Despite her communication of

the condition, she is later sacked. As a result, Ashley fulfilled her obligations as a healthcare

worker.
