Case Analysis Instructions

As part of internal evaluation, one case is issued to each group and it is required that the group study
the case, analyse it with an appropriate O.R. Technique and present their findings. The following are
the deliverables.

Word document – containing a description of the case, mathematical formulation of the problem
defining the variables+objective function+constraints, and the specific solution process. You should also
present the questions and specific answers to the questions.

Excel file – containing the workings to arrive at the solution/s.

Ppt slides – audio-embedded presentation with max 10 slides, describing the problem, solution, and
answers.

The above deliverables should be sent by each group- in one zip file – deposited in Google classroom/ ty
–– latest, one day before the case discussion sessions.

Submissions will be reviewed, and suggestions will be given to individual groups. Presentations will be
organised in class sessions.

The marks distribution will be as follows:

Analysis and Solution – 10 marks, Presentation – 5 marks.
