1. How can I receive my dividends?

By default, the last used shipping address will be saved into to your
EasyCoop Mart account. When you are checking out your order, the
default shipping address will be displayed and you have the option to
amend it if you need to.

2. I have old dividend warrant/unclaimed dividends/ expired warrant, how


can I claim them? What are dividends?

Kindly execute our e-Dividend mandate form and submit to a branch


of your bank, scan send to our organization or bring to any of our
office.

3. Can dividends be paid to any of my bank accounts?

Yes, it can be paid to either your savings or current account.

4. I want to buy/sell shares.

Shares can be bought and sold through any stock broking firm licensed
by the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

5. How do I confirm the ownership of the shares?

Ask security questions captured on Greenpole/Application form, such


as:

 Address used when the shares were purchased


 Next of kin
 Units purchased
 Year purchased

6. What is the total units of shares I have?

1. Kindly use our USSD code to confirm. Please dial *4018# on your
registered number to access your shareholdings.
2. You can also subscribe to our e-Registrars platform for N1,500 per
year.

7. How can I claim my outstanding share certificate?

Kindly liaise with your broker for full dematerialization of your


shareholdings.

8. What is dematerialization of shares?

Dematerialization of shares is the conversion of your paper certificates


to e-Certificates.

9. My parent/relative have shares but are late. How can I claim the
shares?

Two copies each of the following documents are required to complete


transmission of shares:

 Letters of Administration/Probate
 Death certificate
 Newspaper Publication/Gazette
 Bankers Confirmation of Administrators Signatures.
 Physical presence of at least one of the Administrators.
 Means of Identification from any of the below:
o Birth certificate
o Marriage certificate
o Driver’s license
o International Passport

Original copies would be sighted in our office while we process the


request with the soft copies.

10. How long does it take for transmission to be ready?

As soon as the letter of administration is confirmed by the court and the


bank confirms your banker’s confirmation of signature.

11. My parents/relative bought shares for me. How can I claim them?

The parent will send a handwritten letter duly signed, stating that the
shares were purchased for the child who has now come of age to
manage the shares, hence giving full custody to the child. The
following documents will be submitted to our office:

 Handwritten letter
 Proof of purchase
 Bankers confirmation of signature of the child
 Valid means of Identification of the parent

Valid means of identification of the child.

12. My parents/relative bought shares for me, but they are late. How can I
claim them?

The following documents will be required in our office:

 Death certificate of the deceased


 Proof of purchase
 Bankers confirmation of signature

Valid means of identification of the claimer.

13. My parents are late, how can I claim the shares?

Kindly visit our office with the following documents.

14. My name was incorrectly spelt.

Inform the shareholder to provide the following documents

 Request letter
 Capture correct name after vetting documents.
 Means of Identification from any of the below:
o Birth certificate
o Marriage certificate
o Driver’s license

International Passport

15. I want to change my name.

The following documents are required to complete change of Name.

 Request Letter
 Affidavit or Marriage Certificate (Affidavit for male applicants)
 Newspaper publication
 Bankers Confirmation of Signature

Payment of N1,000.

16. I have no signature specimen.

Advice the shareholder to complete either of the following:

 Process a CSCS purchase Transfer form (Original hard copy).


 Banker’s confirmation of signature (Original hard copy).

Complete a self-identification process at any of our offices.

17. My units on CSCS does not match with your records.

Request for current CSCS statement of Account.


Confirm on Greenpole if the shares have all been dematerialized.
Forward to reconciliation if shares have been dematerialized but the
units still do not match.

18. I want to change my address.

Kindly complete our shareholders update form and return to Africa


Prudential plc.

19. I have not been receiving text messages or emails.

Capture the telephone number and email address to Greenpole.

20. What is an AGM?

Annual General meeting is the financial year end of the company


meeting where shareholders are called to be briefed on the
performance of the company, electing a new board, and
declaration of dividends.

21. What do I need to be at the AGM?

At least a unit of the company’s shares and a valid means of


identification.

22. Can I be represented at an AGM?

Yes, you can. Complete a Proxy form and submit the hard copy to
our office 24hrs before the AGM day.

23. I have never received annual reports. How can I be receiving them?

Kindly furnish us with your email address and active telephone


number.

24. How can I get my statement of account?

There are two possible ways to getting/generating statements of


account.

 Subscribing to our SharePortal grants access to generating


statements of account for free.

Requesting for your statement of account through our various channels


of contact, this would attract a service fee of N100 per page.

25. Who is Africa Prudential’s independent auditor?

Akintola Williams Deloitte (Chartered Accountants).

26. How did I get Africa Prudential PLC/Afriland Properties/United Capital
shares?

Africa Prudential PLC was legally spun off at a court ordered meeting
of shareholders of UBA Plc which was held on December 13, 2012,
where a resolution was passed, granting the companies autonomy for
competitiveness and profitability.

The sharing ratio formular for the companies are:

 Africa Prudential Plc – 1 for 33


 Afriland Properties Plc – 1 for 33
 United Capital Plc – 4 for 33

27. When does Africa Prudential PLC report its financial results?

APR reports its quarterly results to the Nigerian Stock Exchange and
shareholders when its year end on 31st of December. The full report
comes out on or before the 31st of March every year.
