E. Project Description, Scope and Management Milestones

1. Project Description
Describe the project approach, specific solution, customer(s), and benefits. The Project Description is located in
the Project Proposal, Section C.

The proposed solution is a competitor RMM suite that can be deployed in a server/client model
either in the cloud or at local premises.

Server: Maintains a list of all client machines sorted by customer-site, periodically downloading
updates from the client machines.  Serves a web interface for management by
technicians. Technicians can use the interface to initiate all manner of management tasks:
Remote Assistance to facilitate end-user support, RDP, SSH, etc.  The server can also be
used to schedule tasks for entire sites, certain machines or individual machines, scripts, reboots,
shutdowns.  The server can optionally be used to maintain and push updates.
Client: Small, low-impact daemon runs in the background with system privileges, feeds data back
to the server and facilitates connections for technicians.
All connections to client machines would be sent through an encrypted tunnel to avoid data
exposure.

2. Scope
The Project Scope defines all of the products and services provided by a project, and identifies
the limits of the project. In other words, the Project Scope establishes the boundaries of a
project. The Project Scope addresses the who, what, where, when, and why of a project.

4
HappyWroklplace is a competitor to the already existing RMM suites, HappyWorkplace can be
installed in a server/client paradigm in the cloud or locale premises, HappyWorkplace is going to
be a tough competitor for the already existing RMMs because of how reliable it is, it will be a
low-cost system with really high availability

HappyWorkplace is a fully functional remote management suite with:

· A server-side implementation for collating, managing, and servicing machines.

· A client-side implementation for maintaining remote access in cloud or locale premises.
· Comprehensive documentation on the operation.
· GUI/operation that is highly reliable, intuitive, and clean in appearance
- HappyWroklplace is a highly reliable and cheap RMM but is not the best RMM to use in
a really big organization (>10,000 people)
- HappyWorkplace can not be used to monitor or manage a large number of clients at the
same time.
