Introduction to Project Management Methodology
The project management methodology that we are going to follow is scrum. As we are going to
use iterative approach to develop the system, So we can easily manage project in small sprints
and can do risk management. As E-commerce is evolving and changing traditional methods and
approaches are not that suitable instead an agile methodology is more suitable for this purpose

EDUCATION.

card transaction.

Introduction to Project Charter

Project initiation is the first step and phase in project management life cycle, basically it is the
creation of project. In this phase, existing problem and project opportunity and its possible
solutions are discussed with the stakeholders. Project business purpose, benefit and if project is
feasible or not is decided. At the end of this phase project business case and project feasibility
report is generated.
In the next step we develop the Project Charter. Project charter is the formal short document that
simply describes the overall project i.e. its objectives, how they will be carried out, roles and
responsibilities, who are the stakeholder of the system. It is very crucial and important part in
Project Plan. We need approved Project charter to start the project.
After we identify the stakeholders of the project we logged it in the stakeholder register which
includes their role and responsibilities, how much impact and influence they might have on the
project outcome.
