To evaluate the efficacy of the data analysis, the definitions validity and reliability have

been used. Those who characterize how precisely a procedure, methodology, or measurement

instrument. Reliability is established with the pinpoint accuracy of a way of measuring, whereas

reliability is concerned with its consistency. It is critical to consider consistence and validity

when going to design your research, organizing your methodologies, and having to write your

findings, especially in qualitative research. Reliability can be estimated by comparing different

versions of the same measuring device. Assessing validity is more incredibly hard, but it can be

estimated by reviewing other necessary details or hypothesis outcome measures. There are

various methods for calculating reliability and validity. Establishing a good research design,

identifying relevant methods and techniques and samples, and carefully and consistently

procedures of data collection all make a contribution to validity in various sections of your

dissertation or thesis is acceptable. Displaying that you considered them when planning your

research and analyzing the findings increases the credibility and trustworthiness of your work

(Cohen, Manion, & Morrison, 2017).

Correlating different versions of the very same measurement instrument can be used to

estimate reliability. It is more difficult to evaluate validity, but it could still be approximated by

reviewing the outcomes to other relevant information or by conducting a statistical analysis

theory. A pilot test is typically used to assess the reliability of the questions. Test-retest

reliability, alternate-form trustworthiness, and internal consistency reliability are the three major

types of reliability that can be assessed. These are discussed further below. The test-retest

correlation indicates long-term stability. First, you must provide detailed information about the

validity and dependability of the instrument for data collection. Describe whether you intend to

evaluate the device's face, content, design, build, or other types of validity. Then, it would be
best if you addressed your study's validity and reliability. To evaluate consistency and stability,

use the reliability command in SPSS to run the Cronbach's alpha test: RELIABILITY

/VARIABLES=q1 q2 q3 q4 q5. In SPSS, you can even use the knock menu, as shown below:

Click Analyze, then Scale, and finally Reliability Interpretation from the menu that appears.
