Ticket Checking, TC), Commercial Clerk (CC), and Enguiry-cum -Reservation - Clerk (ECRC). ‘The 7 CPCs" recommendations pertaining to the Commercial Department staff of the Railways are contained in Para 1.40.64 to 11.40.70 oftheir Report, Uperadation of poss proposed from erstwhile GP 1900 to GP 2000, end from erstwhile .GP2400 to GP 2800 have already been notified for implementation vide Annexure-B of Railway Board's communication No. PC-Vil /2016IRSRPI2 dated 2.082016 (RBE No 93/2016), Recommendations regarding the merger of posts in the three categories of TC, CC and ECRC have been undet consideration in Board's office. Afer consultation with both recognized staf Federations (AIRF and NFIR) and with the concemed Directorates in the Railway Board, it has now been decided to implement the merger into a untied category of ‘Commeral and Ticketing StafP in a phased manner. Details of the cadre strucure/AVG, staffing pavern and norms of ppointment/seletion for this unified category are tabulated inthe Annexure to his leer. 2, The following modalities may be adopted while switching over to the unified cadre structure detailed inthe accompanying Annexure: 2.1 Merger of the thee categories wil follow a graded approach. In first phase, the Ticket ‘Checking category as a whole, with all its existing incumbents, will continue a5 2 separate category with its existing cadre structure and staffing pater, while the exstirg staf working in the categories of CC and ECRCs may be merged. The merged catepories of CC and ECRC will, sccordingly have a fourier structure of posts and functional designation , as belw: ’) Commersil-cum Reservation Clerk in Level-3 (entry evel) ii) Senior Commercial-cum = Reservation Clerk in Level-S consisting of merged posts currently designated as Senior Commercial Clerk and Enquiy-cum-Reservation Clerk that are in Level-S iit) Chief Commercial -cum-Reservation Clerk in Level6 consisting of merged posts currently designated as Head Commercial Clerk and Enuiry-cum-Reservation Supervisor that are in Levels is) Commercial Superintendent jn Level-7 consisting of merged posts curently designated 1s Chief Booking Supervisor and Chief Enquiry cum- Reservation Supervisor that are in Level-7 22. Inthe second phase ofthe merger, all future recruitments to the relevant categories) will, be in the unified cadre structure merging Ticket Checking eatepory also with te cadre of CC & ECRC.
