Poppy the Giant

Poppy is a huge giant. He can drink a river dry or eat

the whole forest. His favorite food is the clouds in the
sky. Poppy likes them because they are fresh and
spongy, just like candy floss.

Poppy lives quietly at the corner of a forest, with no

one to disturb him. He is not happy because
sometimes he feels lonely and wants to have a friend.
Each time he visits a country, everyone will run for their
lives as they are scared of him.

Last night, when Poppy was crying, some stars came

down and asked him why he was sad. Poppy
explained to them how lonely he was.

"Poor giant. He does not know how to make friends,"

one of the stars said.

"How do I make friends?" Poppy asked.

"You can give people a hand, or do something for

them," replied the stars. "For us, we show people the
way at night because it can be quite dark.
