1. Only a function confined by a 2D region with regard to infinitesimal area may be
integralized using a double integral. 2. A surface integral is one in which a function is integrated or evaluated along a surface in higher-dimensional space. The form of a (two-dimensional) surface integral is embedded in a higher-dimensional space. 3. In general, one cannot modify the order of integration while computing a double integral. Changing the sequence of integration plainly alters the limits, as numerous responses have indicated.
