Specifications
Temperature technique: Thermistor probe using disposable probe covers. A predictive algorism allows temperature display
within 30 to 60 seconds in NORMAL mode. A MONITOR mode is provided, wherein the probe
temperature is displayed continuously.
Determination time: Blood pressure – 20 to 45 seconds typical; 120 seconds maximum. Temperature – 30 seconds
typical; 60 seconds maximum (Normal mode)
Digital displays: 0.3” yellow LED for temperature, selectable readouts in Fahrenheit or Centigrade.
Patient Alarm Functions
Temperature: preset at 85°F low and 108°F high. May be reset in 0.1°F increments between 85°F and 99°F for the
low limit and between 97°F and 108° F for the high limit. Alarms can be set in selected units (°F or
°C). Temperature alarms are available only in MONITOR mode
Alarm indicators: A flashing alarm LED above the SILENCE key, flashing systolic, diastolic, pulse rate and/or
temperature display, or flashing diagnostic code in pulse rate display or temperature display indicate
alarm conditions.
Operating modes: Temperature-NORMAL and MONITOR
Prior data: Monitor stores 99 minutes of data (up to 100 readings within this period) while monitor is on.
Accessory connection: Rear panel data interface connector provides serial data communications interface at 600 BAUD
Temperature probe: Blue probe for oral use, red for rectal. Probes have coiled cables extensible to 10 feet.
Power requirements: Input power 0.4 amps max. at 100, 120 VAC or 0.2 amps max. at 220, 240 VAC
Battery: 12 Volt, 2.4 amp-hours. Six-hour minimum operation (5 minute auto cycle with adult cuff at 25°C)
with full charge. Battery is 90% to 100% charged after 16 hours of charging
Leakage current: <100µA
Portability: Can be hand carried by the Tablet Holder or recessed handle. When attached to the stand, the
monitor can be wheeled from patient to patient.
