CRITIKON® 8100T® NIBP MONITOR

• NIBP monitor with new cuff


• The 8100T model automates the
measurement of blood pressure, pulse and
temperature.
• First and foremost, it is a blood pressure
monitor with accuracy that correlates to
central aortic pressures. It gives reliable
pulse rates and temperature readings. Bias or
inconsistencies between readings are
eliminated because the vital signs
measurements are automated.

Specifications
Temperature technique: Thermistor probe using disposable probe covers. A predictive algorism allows temperature display
within 30 to 60 seconds in NORMAL mode. A MONITOR mode is provided, wherein the probe
temperature is displayed continuously.
Determination time: Blood pressure – 20 to 45 seconds typical; 120 seconds maximum. Temperature – 30 seconds
typical; 60 seconds maximum (Normal mode)
Digital displays: 0.3” yellow LED for temperature, selectable readouts in Fahrenheit or Centigrade.
Patient Alarm Functions
Temperature: preset at 85°F low and 108°F high. May be reset in 0.1°F increments between 85°F and 99°F for the
low limit and between 97°F and 108° F for the high limit. Alarms can be set in selected units (°F or
°C). Temperature alarms are available only in MONITOR mode
Alarm indicators: A flashing alarm LED above the SILENCE key, flashing systolic, diastolic, pulse rate and/or
temperature display, or flashing diagnostic code in pulse rate display or temperature display indicate
alarm conditions.
Operating modes: Temperature-NORMAL and MONITOR
Prior data: Monitor stores 99 minutes of data (up to 100 readings within this period) while monitor is on.
Accessory connection: Rear panel data interface connector provides serial data communications interface at 600 BAUD
Temperature probe: Blue probe for oral use, red for rectal. Probes have coiled cables extensible to 10 feet.
Power requirements: Input power 0.4 amps max. at 100, 120 VAC or 0.2 amps max. at 220, 240 VAC
Battery: 12 Volt, 2.4 amp-hours. Six-hour minimum operation (5 minute auto cycle with adult cuff at 25°C)
with full charge. Battery is 90% to 100% charged after 16 hours of charging
Leakage current: <100µA
Portability: Can be hand carried by the Tablet Holder or recessed handle. When attached to the stand, the
monitor can be wheeled from patient to patient.
