Please note that if compliance by the Accredited Checker (AC) (or the Specialist Accredited Checker,
where appropriate) is necessary, the Qualified Person (QP) for structural works (or Qualified Person for
geotechnical works, where appropriate) is required to collate and resubmit together with the AC’s
compliance/certificate.

With effect on 01-Apr-2018, BCA will begin assessing AC’s submissions for Submissions Quality Score
(S-score) computation under the QFM Procurement Framework for AC. S-score will be assessed based
on technical lapses1 identified in AC’s submissions to BCA that are clarified through BCA’s Written
Directions (WD). Technical Lapses that result in design change2 will have greater impact on the S-
Score. The S-score attributed by BCA in respect of any submission is final.
