Girl: Good evening ladies and gentlemen. May we have your attention please.

In a few minutes, we are

about to begin the event, so please find your places and make yourselves comfortable and enjoy the rest
of the evening.

BOTH: A pleasant evening to each and everyone and welcome to Titam’s 18th Birthday Party.

Boy: Welcome to a night of various colors in celebration of a wonderful life for a girl who is now
turning into a fine lady. All of you who are here tonight have watched her grow over the years into a
wonderful person she is now.

Girl: Yes! You know what partner, we are truly lucky for we are chosen to be here and be part of this
meritorious occasion.

Boy:

Girl: Alright! But before anything else that will follow, we would like to thank and acknowledge
everyone for gracing and sharing this very momentous occasion with our debutante because as they
say, we only get to be 18 once.

Boy: As a jumpstart and to spiritually open the program, we’d like to request everybody to please stand
as we say our prayer to be led by ________________.

PRAYER

Lord God, we dedicate this day, this very special day to you. For it is you who gave us the most
wonderful gift, a loving daughter, a helpful cousin, and a trusted friend in the person of Titam. May you
continue to shower her blessings and keep her on the right path so that she may realize all her dreams
and remain humble, God-fearing and responsible young adult. Bless also her family and all those who
care and love her. Lord, be our silent guest tonight as we celebrate Titam’s 18tT birthday. Be with us, Oh
Lord, and bless everybody who made this event possible. All these we pray, in Jesus name, Amen.

Girl: Tonight is truly a celebration of adulthood and a thanksgiving of the life God has given to our
lovely celebrant.

Boy: Evidently, before tonight, Titam has had happy years in a very happy home. The love of a family
will always be God’s greatest blessing. Sabi nga nila, in life we can have several friends, classmates,
and social circles, but there is only one family who is always willing and ready to welcome us no
matter what.

--Adlibs-- INTRODUCING THE DEBUTANTE

Boy:

Girl: So, wag na nating patagalin pa, let us put our hands together, as we welcome the main highlight
of this celebration, and as she stepped into a higher level of life, ladies and gentlemen, our debutante

BOTH: REYNILYN ANGEL GUIMARY!

---Grand Entrance of Debutante---

Titam grew up with so much love and kindness. She is loved by everybody for her beauty inside and
out. Her voice is an angel. Her smile bears no limit. Her heart is unafraid. Her mind is ready to try.
She's ready for any adventure for the sake of fun and friendship. More refined than shy, more
adventurous than playful, more charismatic than charming, more alluring than beautiful. Indeed, she
has all grown up and what a sight she has become.

Ladies and gentlemen, once again, our dazzling lady of the night, MS. REYNILYN ANGEL
GUIMARY!

Boy: Blooming and lovely, indeed! Saan nga ba siya nagmana? Kay Mama ba? Or kay Papa?

Girl: Or baka naman both diba? Pero bakit di natin tanungin based sa perspectives ng mga friends nya
diba?

Boy: Pwede nga naman partner. So, all of you who are here tonight are closest to Joza. Sabi nga nila,
friendship is a million little things. So this time, we’d like to ask Titam’s dear friends this question:
“What is that one word that best describes our debutant, and why?”

--Adlibs-- (Call a friend and do the questioning)

1. How will you describe Titam in one word?
Friend: Jomela Bonde & Francis Bocato
2. Kamusta si Titam as a friend?
3. Can you share any unforgettable or memorable moment with Titam?

__________________________________________________________________
Girl: Alright! Thank you everyone for being participative. So, at this juncture, before we proceed to the
main part of the occasion, let us first give this moment to the people who made all these a success:
from the planning to the execution, for the foods, the details of the party. Without these people, this
event would not be possible. May i call in the proud parents of our debutante Mr. and Mrs. Guimary , to
give and share to us their commitment to their loving daughter.

***WELCOME REMARKS OF THE PARENTS***

Boy: Thank you so much dear parents!

--Adlibs--

Girl: Titam has shared a part of her growing years with all of us. At sabi nga ni mareng Willa Cather?
“Where there is great love, there are always wishes.” Because birthdays are always new beginnings,
sending birthday messages and wishes is a tradition especially in our country, where we give high value
to family ties and relationship.

Boy: Tonight, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you these 18 Wishers for our debutante. These are the
people close to the heart of our celebrant, and whom she listens and confides to for inspiring words and
friendly advice.

Girl: Candle often reveal a sense of mysteryvand supernatural guidance. It symbolizes security as it
may illuminate circumstances. It may also signify 18 significant people in our celebrant's life who
serve as her guide as she grows up. These are also the people who care for her and love her
unconditionally. So, as you hear your name, please be on stage, light your candle and give a brief
message or birthday wish for our debutante.

Boy: Starting off with the woman dearest to Titam’s heart, representing the mother candle that will be a
source of light for all the well-wishers for our dear debutante, here’s Angelita Guimary!

---Everybody blows the candle---

---photo opportunity---

Girl: So, we hope everybody is still doing well. Now, we have prepared a simple game para sa lahat.
This is so simple kung kilala niyo talaga ang ating debutante. And hindi makakasagot, pwede nang
umuwi at wag nang kakainin. (JOKETIME)

____________________________________________________________________

Girl: We have now come to the part of our program that the guys have been waiting for. A chance to
hold the hand of our lovely debutante for a short dance.

Boy: The 18 roses signify the debutante’s coming age. Like a pretty flower that attracts bees and
butterflies, Joza Mae will be surrounded by 18 equally handsome gentlemen who will represent the
debutante’s 18 roses.

Girl: Furthermore, flowers often symbolize degrees of love and affection, but they can also send a
variety of messages. Messages of forgiveness, purity, modesty, hope, beauty and love. The 18 roses
signify 18 very special gentlemen in the life of the debutante, like her friends, relatives, brothers,
boyfriend (kung meron man) and of course we can never forget the father.

the most loved traditions in any Filipino debut celebration. This signifies the daughter’s first step to
womanhood and the father’s acceptance of this period in his daughter’s life.

--End of Dance--

Boy: Gentlemen, before you return to your own seats, let’s have first the photo opportunity with our
debutante.

---photo opportunity---

Girl: Thank you so much gentlemen!

Boy: Are you guys, still with us?

_____________________________________________________________________

symbolizes as bad or undesirable attitudes that we do not want the debutante to carry on her new world

(BLOWING OF THE CANDLE)

Girl: Let me share another good-to-know trivia to everyone on how birthday cakes and candles came
about as a tradition during birthdays. Some believe that the tradition of birthday candles began in
Ancient Greece. Putting candles on a cake was a special way to pay tribute to the Greek moon goddess,
Artemis. They baked round cakes to symbolize the moon. Candles were added to represent the reflected
moonlight. Today’s tradition of making wishes before blowing out the birthday candles may have
started with that belief. Enough of all those did-you-know trivia because at this part of the program, our
lovely and stunning Titam will blow the candles on her birthday cake.

Boy: And to complete that customary practice, let us all sing joyfully a song I am very sure everybody
is familiar with, the happy birthday song!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TITAM!

_____________________________________________________________________

---- So, how is everybody doing so far? Are you happy?

Girl: Well we are sure that everyone is already hungry! Don’t worry folks, we wouldn’t be delaying
your delicious dinner any further. But before anything else, let’s bless the foods first.

Boy: Everybody…... Bless us, Oh Lord, and these thy gifts, which we are about to receive from thy
bounty, through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
