Ans The shehnai was traditionally played in royal courts, temples and weddings.
Ustaad Bismillah khan changed the tradition by bringing this instrument onto
the classical stage

Ans Bismillah Khan got his big break with the opening of the All India Radio in
Lucknow in 1938. He soon became a regular Shehnai player on the radio.

Ans The author believed that Bismillah Khan's life was a perfect example of a

he had great respect for Varanasi and had faith in Baba Vishwanath.
