TRUNNION MOUNTED BALL VALVES HIGH PERFORMANCE BUTTERFLY VALVES

Bushes and bearings manufactured and supplied by DuroFit Technologies offer for the Industrial Fluid Control VALVE &
Actuator Application.
Below mentioned are the viability and suitability of using DUROFIT range of bushes for all your requirements for Valves and actuators or any other
flow control applications.
Advantages of Buying from DUROFIT An Indian Brand with technologies from 3 continents:
ü DuroFit has the team and R&D back-up to make any special parts and materials as per req.
ü Raw materials and machineries are sourced from certified locations which are audited.
ü Parts produced are frequently tested for performance confirming to design standards.
ü Parts can be made and stored in our warehouse and shipped as per your schedule from INDIA.
IDEAL RECOMMENDATIONS WHILE USING A SLIDING BEARING: -
l The slit bearings are PRE-CALIBRATED - Don’t take the measurements in open state.
l Require an even PRESS FIT - Using a hammer or hard objects for fitment would damage.
l The bushes removed from housing lose its tolerances - Cannot re use the bushes.
l Choose Bushes according to the APPLICATIONS & IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE MATING PARTS// For example..

DUROFIT BEARINGS & THRUST PADS (WASHERS) ARE MADE FROM THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS WHICH ARE
PRIDUCED IN THE MOST SOPHISTICATED PLANTS AROUND THE WORLD AND IMPORTED TO INDIA WHERE IT IS PROCESSED
& PRODUCED TO THE PRECISE SIZES & PRODUCTCS TO PERFORM IN YOUR VALVES AND OTHER PRODUCTS.
DVA (DUROVAL)

DTX (DUROTEX)
The best warranted Bearing & washer material for the chemically aggressive (SOUR) or EXTREMELY HIGH LOAD applications which has the
highest life span in application as we all 100% self-lubricating insuring years of worry free operation. It has played a pivot role in control valve
application with its unique characteristics to bring down the actuator prices enabling to use lower capacity machines considering the bearing
material life & self lubricating capacity.

SLIDING BEARING CHECKING METHODS - SPC Tests & Controls Followed during Production:
1. Test “A” – ISO 3547-2 (DIN 1494): for Tolerances for Fitment and Final tolerance of ID.
2. Test “B” – ISO 3547-2 (DIN 1494): for “GO” and “NO GO” checking for each batch.
3. Test “C” – ISO 3547-2 (DIN 1494): for checking ID and OD
4. Test “D” – ISO 3547-2 (DIN 1494): For chamfer and OD for even finish after Sn flashing.
Performance Tests Conducted for Products – Concerning to VALVES:
1. Jupiter Test Rig for Valves – (By the Valve manufacturer)
2. Flow Erosion Resistance Test - (By the Valve manufacturer)
3. Alternative movement uni-directional load bearing test - (By the Valve manufacturer)
4. Alternative movement uni-directional & double load bearing test - (By the Valve manufacturer)
5. Alternative movement uni-directional & extremely high load bearing test (40 tones) - (By the Valve manufacturer)
Advantages of converting to slef lube material from other bearings plain bearings:
l Wider Application:
Note 1: With a better thermal, load & chemical capacity, your Valves become open to wider application.
Note 2: Globally almost 70% of TMBV‘s are made with Ultra Low Carb Steel/ self-lube material
l Extreme positive cost viabilities
Almost 30 to 35 % economical than SS material due to large productions.
l Smaller Actuator: Since these bushes have a better PV factor, actuator load is reduced. (huge Cost saving + assurance of increased life)
l Service Life: Compared to Delrin, RTFE, Sinter Bronze bushes self lube bearings has 300% more service life.
Tested for a life span ranging form 1 million to 2 million cycles.
l
Spares: These bushes are standard parts and are available across the globe.
l
Less Machining – Machining in the OD is reduced from 2 to 5mm in each casting. (Cost Saving)
l
Casting Standardization: Same casting can be used for different application as the different bushes are available in same dimension.

Conclusion:
When there is standardization brought in design and production of VALVES
l
Using common material and standard dimension – Reducing sourcing time and cost and minimising suppliers and codes.
l
Standards casting used for Multiple applications and thus reducing inventory and cost
l
High load capacity and Self-lubrification under dry operation – use of small actuator and increased life.
l
Low static and dynamic coefficient of friction – Extended maintenance free life.
l
Minimum wear and excellent operating life.

Below are some Ball Valve application for example Trunnion kind and one can see where the Bearings and also the Thrust Washers are used; we
have the possibility of providing the Bearings with the base material not only in ultra low carbon steel, but can be in SS 304, SS316/ Inox 316,
Inconel 625and 825 for high temperature applications up to 800°C.

Please check the link below to refer for our standard dimensions available EX-STOCK.
