Project Details - Confidential


Coral South floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) project located offshore Mozambique, in the southern part of
Area-4 of Rovuma Basin, is the first FLNG project in Africa. It will be the world’s first ultra-deep water FLNG
facility.

We are one of the exclusive representatives for a leading Japanese EPC company in Singapore for the
construction of a Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG)

During Project activities the role is initially based in Geoje, South Korea, at Samsung Heavy Industries
(SHI) Shipyard until sail away to Mozambique.
During shipyard commissioning and start up the role will be on a rotational basis.

Shipyard Phase onshore phase – Specific Responsibilities

• Be familiar with all issues related to Health Safety and Environment (HSE), in the shipyard and

onboard the vessel, by attending all related training sessions

• Participate in Emergency Response Exercises as per allocated responsibility in line with


shipyard/project agreed procedures
• Attend daily Tool-Box talks, JHA discussions, and Risk Assessments as and when required

• Conducts Risk Assessments (JHA) as and when required


• Acts as Permit to Work Holder
• Monitor construction for compliance to project standards and specification submitting surveillance
reports on any defects
• Prepare for review and approval necessary Systems/Subsystems documentation handed over to
O&M
• Participate in the commissioning and start-up ICSS activities for all ICSS in line with established
CSU/OTP procedures

Offshore Phase voyage phase – Specific Responsibilities

The role will be required to:


• Contribute to a high standard of HSE performance by following HSE standards at all times,
including the prompt reporting of any safety or environmental hazards or incidents, not limited to
the Telecoms discipline only.
• Participate in Emergency Response Exercises as per allocated responsibility in line project
agreed procedures;
• Assist with commissioning and start-up of the systems and associated instrumentation in line with
CSU agreed procedures;
• Attend daily Tool-Box talks, JHA discussions, and Risk Assessments as and when required
• Conducts Risk Assessments (JHA) as and when required
• Acts as Permit to Work Holder
• Prepare for review and approval necessary Systems/Subsystems documentation handed over to
O&M
• Provision of a report for each trip detailing work carried out, particularly in areas of faults,
corrective work and suggestive improvements, handover notes for back-to-back should also be
provided.
• Co-ordinate availability of spare parts and equipment required for repairs and change outs,
schedule onshore/shipyard repairs test equipment to ensure continuity of service.
• Assist auditors, vendors and other third parties during site visits.

Requirements

• CompSc/Software Engineering (HND/Degree in/or equivalent technical based automation


qualification)
• TUV functionality safety engineer (SIS) certification

Minimum Experience

• Extensive maintenance experience with Emerson DeltaV system (software/hardware)


• Technical knowledge of various communication protocols (including MODBUS TCP/IP / OFC
/HART and control system networking technologies
• Technical knowledge of AMS / diagnostic software / tools including valve link
• Experienced in Visual Basic scripting
• Experienced in HMI Graphics design and optimization/operator training

Experienced with control module design and commissioning


• Experienced with fault diagnostics and break-down repairs on above systems

• Experienced with cause-and-effect testing/verification/charts and matrices


• Thorough understanding of pre-commissioning, commissioning process for ICSS
• Technical knowledge of PTW systems, HSE and EMS
• Working knowledge of MS Office standard packages
• Working knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System, preferably
SAP)
