Criminal Case:

On February 2, 2020, at about 12:30 in the afternoon in Brgy. Banaba, San Pascual, Batangas,
the Tashaki Soji, a Japanese national who was living with his Filipina gf Susana Martinez was
walking alone coming from a brief drinking session with Susana’s relatives. Mariano Endozo, a
distant cousin of Susana saw Tashaki and immediately struck Tashaki from behind with a piece
of wood measuring 2x3”and about 3ft long. This caused Tashaki to fall on the ground and
thereafter Mariano repeatedly pounced him with a piece of wood hitting his head with Susana
shouting “Tuluyan mo na yan wala na yang pera pabigat lang saken yan”. Some people in the
neighborhood saw what was taking place with the acts done by Mariano. Tashaki died due to
multiple internal injuries on his body the most fatal of which is the skull fracture which led to
internal hemorrhage.

Lorna and Dante Santos are children of Arsenio and Maura Santos. Arsenio Santos died on
December 1, 2010, leaving several properties to his heirs (he died intestate). On January 2,
2019, Maura and Lorna discovered that Dante sold a parcel of land consisting under TCT No.
1234 registered in the Office of the RD of Batangas City as it is located in Barangay Bolbok with
an area of 529sqm that the land was sold to Dante Santiago in the amount of 1M. The DOS was
purportedly signed by Sps Arsenio and Maura. Maura denied her participation in the deed
notarized by Atty. Edwin Fortun. A check in the RD was

Mother and daughter now wants to impugn the sale, as they came to know that the transaction
was at the behest of Dante. As counsel for the defendant, what documents are you going to
