Immediate Outcome and Deferred Outcome

Immediate outcome is a change that is expected to occur once one or more output have been
provided or delivered by the implementer.

Deferred outcome refer to the ability to apply the 3H in various situations many years after
completion. For example promotion in a job awards and recognition success in professional
practice or occupation.

2. Institutional Outcome and Program Outcome

Institutional Learning Outcomes are the knowledge, skills, abilities, and attitudes that students
are expected to develop as a result of their overall experiences with any aspect of the college,
including courses, programs, and student services.

Program Outcomes examine what a program or process is to do, achieve, or accomplish for its
own improvement and/or in support of institutional or divisional goals generally numbers,
needs or satisfaction driven.

3. Student-Centered Instruction and Content-Centered Instruction

Student-Centered Learning, also known as learner-centered education, broadly encompasses


methods of teaching that shift the focus of instruction from the teacher to the student.

Content Based instruction is an approach to language teaching that focuses not on the language
itself, but rather on what is being taught through the language that is, the language becomes
the medium through which something new is learned.

4. To develop communication skills and can communicate orally and in writing

There are specific things to do that can improve your communication skills
1. Listening
2. Who you are talking to matters
3. Body language matters
4. Check your message before you hit send
5. Be specific
6. Write things down
7. Think before you speak
