Differentiate each of the following pairs

1. Assessment and Evaluation

Assessment in classroom research is to provide useful feedback for the improvement of


teaching and learning while Evaluation is feedback from the instructor to the student about
the students learning.

2. Formative Evaluation and Summative Evaluation

Formative evaluation is typically conducted during the development or improvement of a


program or course while Summative evaluation involves making judgments about the
efficacy of a program or course at its conclusion.

3. Mental Skill and Manual Skill

Mental skill, you are using your brain to work, or it is a tool for mind. It is a cognitive domain
of learning. Examples are positive self-talk, enhancing confidence, goal setting, and
achieving the most productive mindset. Manual skill is you are letting your hand to work. It
is also an ability to develop or enhance other skills.
