CORONA VIRUS (COVID-19)

PLAN OF ACTION

1. Competition Venue / Training Venue

 Review venue plans and stakeholder movement to allow social distancing and avoid

crowded areas.

 Define a social distancing plan including signage at the entrance, temperature checks

guideline for seating, limited facility access (i.e.) toilettes, changing rooms, showers, and

technical officials’ area).

 Develop venue cleaning plan and medical waste management

 Establish an equipment sanitizing protocol / sanitize ball after each rally, only players are

allowed to retrieve ball

 Ensure venue attendance is monitored to comply with local government restrictions

 Reinforce personal hygiene and apply signage reinforcing safety messages

 Restrict movement of players once competition starts. {team bench –warm up area}

2. Medical Control

 Define the illness treatment facility closest to the venue

 Conduct check for players, officials at designated point

 Provide an isolation room for suspected COVID-19 cases and follow isolation protocol

Attention

 Wearing of mask is mandatory.

 Sanitization and temperature checks will be done on entry.

 Avoid congested areas, create your own space and remain there until your team to

take the court.

 Equipment will be sanitized during and after play.

 Temper usage of bath room facility and or hand washing areas to avoid crowding.

 Limit your personal gathering, create a bubble and be responsible.

 After playing teams should avoid loitering

Rules

 Format of tournament will be based on number of team

registered
 3 of side competition
 All games rule applies except: back court violation, rotation
fault, blocking violation from server
 Referee control game
 All entries must be paid on arrival by teams
 Players must remain in designated areas once not on court
 All first-round matches are 1 set to 11 capped, second round 2
sets to 15 capped, third round best of 3 sets to 21
 Third place 1 set to 21 capped
 Modification of scoring will be done based on time
