(a) A freshman class consists of 20 students, 12 of which are men. The class needs to select
a committee of 5 students to represent them in the student senate. Find the number of
committees are possible if the committee must have at least 3 women.

consecutive 0s.

(c) Race cars for a particular race are numbered sequentially from 22 to 126. Find the

(d) George has a bag of marbles. There are 6 red and 4 white marbles. George takes out a
marble at random and records its color. Without replacement, George takes out another
