Leadership Experiences and Goals

Experience:

I am our teams PBIS lead. I work with other teachers at our school to help come up with the best ways to
meet the behavior and academic needs of our students. I research different ways that we can better meet
these needs and then share them with the school team. I also meet with our kindergarten team to discuss
some of that are shared so I can make sure to bring up things to advocate for our kindergarten team.

I am alway looking to learn more form other teachers. I work closely with other professionals at our school
to share new ideas and find out ways to better meet my students needs. I also look for professional
development that will not only benefit me but also benefit my team as a whole. Feel like there is always
more to learn.

I also am big on using technology and having students use technology in the classroom. I help another
teacher on our team use technology in her classroom. She learns a lot from watching me do something. I
take the time once a week to go over anything she needs help with. It helps me find new ways to use
technology in the classroom and also how to make it user friendly for others who may not be so
comfortable using it. I am always letting other teachers know that I am willing to help them with different
technology. I even was able to help a few teachers with a new program we just started using called iReady.
I have had a lot of trying at other schools I worked in and now am able to share that with others.
