Activity 1: Answer the following questions:

1. Describe the community where you belong.

- The community wherein I lived was very peaceful, and I had no problems here at all.
And I've noticed that most people here prefer to spend their time indoors, so it's not at all loud
and annoying here, unless there's a celebration, such as a birthday. And the people here are also
well-disciplined; we respect one another, and it isn't overly crowded; people are very nice and
good.

2. What does your community provide you with as individuals?

- Within our homes, our community provides security. Barangay Tanods are constantly
patrolling our barangay to ensure that every citizen in the community is safe and well. Because
we are currently in the midst of a pandemic, they constantly remind us to follow health and
safety protocols and to always stay safe. They also assist individuals here in situations such as
dealing with major life problems and provide resources that citizens hardly needed in times of
crisis.

3. What are your contributions to your community?

- One of my contributions to our community is my ability to follow health and safety

protocols. Following orders in our community is a big help, especially in our current situation,
and it will benefit both me and my community. It will keep viruses from spreading in our
community. Aside from that, I make sure to segregate my trash at home, as our barangay
officials always tell us to do, to minimize the harm to our environment and to help those who
collect our garbage. Furthermore, I do my part as a citizen in our community by adhering to all
laws and protocols and being a disciplined citizen, as everyone should in order to live in peace.
4. How will you describe your relationship with your community?

My relationship with my community is like a melody. Because I do my part in my community

and follow the rules, and the community I lived in does the same, we are sailing in the same
boat, which is why we are moving in unity and harmony. I am overjoyed that I have found
peace in my community; as for myself, I dislike noisy and troublesome environments; they
irritate me. As a result, I believe the community in which I lived is best suited for me.
