III. 1. Define/explain in your own words.

1. Student Learning Outcomes. Ans. Student learning outcomes help in teaching learning
process to share and to showcase the abilities and different skills of the students. It also
determine your different individuals ability. It helps the teacher and students come2 to a
common understanding about the purpose and goals of a course or academic program.
2. Assessment. Ans. Plays an important role in the process of learning and motivation. It
also provide valuable information about the student learning, they tell us what students
learned, how they learned it and where they struggled
3. Authentic assessment. Ans. It evaluates if the students of what they learned or skills
gained in the classroom to various context. It also evaluates how students are learning the
course material and subject matter, it provide students a chance to apply what they've
learned and allows students to construct meaning about what they've been taught.
4.Performance assessment tools. Ans. It allow students to apply knowledge to
solve a problem or demonstrate a skill. In performance assessment, students
demonstrate t construct something and that work is assessed using observation
and judgement. Examples are curriculum mapping, portfolios, structured
interviews and surveys.
2. Differentiate Traditional Assessment from Authentic Assessment.

Ans. Traditional assessment follows selecting a response from learners whereas authentic
assessment engages learners to perform a task on the basis of the item they are informed.
Traditional assessment is contrived but authentic is in real life
