Discussion: The decision to Drop the Atomic Bomb

Based on Truman's trial and both the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombing, I think Truman is guilty because
of the death and aftermath impacts of the bombing. Apart from obvious war reasons, Truman had no
right to attack innocent civilians with nothing to do with circumstance. The bombing was not from the
military, and so it was not necessary. Both the first and second bombings claimed numerous people's
lives, and currently, most of those victims are suffering from the radiation of aftermath. Some are
dealing with diseases, disorders, and conditions, which they did not deserve to deal with. Truman's
actions were after the selfish act, and he should be found guilty for all the charges.
