How do you feel about the assignments and the people where you are doing your
internship?
Every day that I spend in the classroom and interacting with students at Sanford Middle

School becomes better and better. As soon as I started working at the school, I was greeted with

overwhelming support from the staff, kids, parents and instructors. For the most part, parents and

school personnel have been helpful in helping me adjust to my new surroundings. The school's

board of trustees has assigned me a personal tutor to help me with lesson preparation and

curricular materials. I feel I will be able to concentrate more on educating my students because

of the school's strong emphasis on parental involvement. As a result, I will be able to better serve

children' needs by having greater interaction with their parents and learning more about their

home environments.
