Manure – solid waste from farm animals, often mixed with other substances and used on crops to help them to grow;

To abandon - to leave someone when you should stay with them and look after them;

E.g.: - I don’t wanna just abandon him.

To assume – to believe that something is true, even though no one has told you or even though you have no proof;
E.g.: For now, I assume this is a clerical error.

Weeds – a plant that grows easily and is usually found in places where you do not want it;

To hold off – to stop something from happening;

E.g.: I’d better tell your mum to hold off on that salad.

Amazed – very surprised;
E.g.: I’m amazed she had a boyfriend.

Capable – able to do something;

E.g.: I think I’m capable of handling this.

To handle – to take action in order to deal with a difficult situation;

E.g.: Do you think you can handle this any better?

Confab – an informal private discussion to decide something;
E.g.: Let’s go for a little confab.
