Impromptu Speech and Extemporaneous Speech

— It is the presentation of a short message without and

advance preparation.

— It is also know as an “on-the-spot speech”

— It is derived from the Latin expression “in promptu”

meaning “in readiness”.

— Examples:

— Introduction of oneself, Job interview, speech during


wedding, birthdays, etc.
