Hello dear friends: With this postcard I want to tell you about my experience on the island
of Providencia. I was there for two years ago, in 2005 and 2006, I was working, but I also
came in often on weekends. There are very kind people, the landscapes, the sea of the seven
colors and the history of pirates and the different languages gave them the culture that these
people currently have. The climate is tropical and it is very windy all year round. At the
weekend I liked to go to a restaurant to eat typical fish food. There are several mountains in
Providence and sometimes I went to the highest called The Peak. Along the way there are
blue lizards with different tones very beautiful. In this photo you can see below Cayo
Cangrejo - Cangrejo, a small island, there is also Providencia and above is Santa Catalina
Island. But my favorite activity was diving. I am a diver and I always went diving, there is
spectacular. There are many colors, animals and one day I saw a great shark. That was
exciting. I hope that someday you can visit this wonderful place.
