Description
A warm up drill
a great way to work on ball control as well as fitness

Animation 1 (10 mins)

1 bounce and run

players make a circle with one ball
The player starting with the ball. kicks the ball in the air to a team mate
and immediately runs clockwise outside of the circle around their team
mates until they get back to their starting position.
while they are running a team mate meets the ball so there is only 1
bounce or no bounces. they head or half volley or volley the ball to
another team mate and they run around the group clockwise.
this continues counting how many times the ball can be kept in play
without more than 1 bounce between touches.
we usually have 2 groups competing against one another

Screen 2 (5 mins)

progression
this time instead of running round the circle the players
kicking/heading the ball joins a space in the other group
This time the aim is for both groups to work together to keep the ball
up as many times as possible.
