Checking for Understanding

A. Distinguish book review and literature review on the following bases: content, purpose, length.

and suggest further research.
length Single paragraph to substantial essays. Varies on the purpose and audience, it is usually
multiple pages long.

B. Discuss the difference among research report, project proposal and position paper in terms of purpose.

A research report is a written document that summarizes the main findings of a study. It's a
way to share study findings with the right people. Project proposals are documents that are created to
solve problems, provide services, plan events, or sell equipment. Proposals are typically intended to
persuade the reader to do what the proposal proposes, such as purchase goods or services, support a
project, or execute a program. The final outcome is the research report, whereas the research proposal
simply states what you intend to undertake. There is a difference between a project narrative, which is
a research proposal, and a project management plan, which is a project proposal, when it comes to
contracting for research. A position paper is an article in which the author or another defined body,
such as a political party, expresses an opinion on a topic. Position papers are published in a variety of
settings, including academia, politics, law, and other fields. Position papers can take many different
forms, ranging from a simple letter to the editor to a more comprehensive academic position paper.
Large organizations also utilize position papers to make public the group's official beliefs and
suggestions.

the novel's history and beginnings. They then went over each of the story's
elements and portions in detail, providing a brief interpretation. In order of appearance, the
following elements and features are listed: genre, characters, themes, author's writing style,
literary techniques, symbolism, and quotes. The initial review focused mostly on the plot,
with an emphasis on the novel's objective interpretation.
The second review, on the other hand, is primarily subjective. The reviewer shared
their personal thoughts and feelings while reading the book, as well as what they loved and
valued about it, throughout the review.
The final review is objective as well as subjective. The reviewer began by just
expressing their views and ideas about the literature. They went on to describe its
characteristics, which made it popular but also made it too philosophical for children to
grasp. After that, the critic went into great detail regarding the novel and how it developed
as a result of the author's experiences and points of view.

perspectives in future studies will be beneficial in determining the exact efficiency of online education.

10. Discuss the relevance of the study to you.

 This study is very important for me because, as a student I encounter different shifts and hardships in the
mode of education. I also need to know the different perceptions of my fellow students about the shift caused
by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
