Direction: Justify your answer to the following situations.

Situation No. 1
With her alluring charm and beauty, Cathy tried her luck to work at Party People, a well-known night
club. She knows how to talk well and encourage men that would want to have a seat with her.
Because of this, there is no night that have passed that she hasn’t paid for an amount of less than
5,000 pesos from her costumers who bring her out to spent the night with her.
One night, she was on her way home when Totoy Bato grabbed her into the dark alley and
forcibly asked for a single kiss. Since Cathy refused to do so, he gave her a hard hit on her
stomach causing Cathy to faint instantaneously. Thereafter, Totoy Bato raped Cathy, then left her
in the dark after he finished.
On the following day, she was found herself naked and weak in the alley down the street. She
immediately gets dressed and ran to the police station to report the incident and filed a case against
Totoy Bato.

Question: Would you blame Cathy for what happened to her? Why or why not?

Situation No. 2
Zuraida, a beautiful and smart woman got married to a rich businessman, Gwapo. The couple had a hard
time of being together because of the busy schedule. Gwapo rarely gets home due to his business trips
here and there. Zuraida was always left alone in the house with their pet dogs.
One fine evening, Zuraida called Gwapo if will he be able to got home the next weekend because it’s their
wedding anniversary. He answered his wife that he cannot because he will be meeting Mr. Lee Min Ho for
a business proposal and is preparing for his presentation. He will be out of town for the whole weekend.
With a cold heart, Zuraida wished her husband good luck for his meeting and presentation.
When Gwapo was on his way to the meeting, Mr. Lee Min Ho called him to postpone to the next weekend
the said meeting because of a personal reason. With nothing else to do, Gwapo decided to go to a local
store and bought a gift for his wife to surprise her.
As he went down to his car, he immediately went to their room and opened the door. To his surprise, he
saw his wife naked on top of a man, also naked. A few moments later, Gwapo ran out of the house
shaking, crying and full of blood.
The incident was reported to the proper authority and Gwapo was now being pursued by the police.

Question: Is Zuraida the one responsible for what happened to her because she got an affair with another
man? Or was it Gwapo? Why or why not?
