EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
TO COMMUNICATE ABOUT YOUR
CERTIFICATION!
We have designed this guide to help you
communicate on your certificate while
CONGRATULATIONS! meeting the regulations governing the use
YOU HAVE JUST RECEIVED of SGS System Certification Mark.
Every company may make reference
YOUR MANAGEMENT to the certification it has received, but
there should be no ambiguity about the
SYSTEM CERTIFICATION. standards, the activities and the sites

Therefore, a certified subsidiary forming

certificate which you may display
in your offices. It is also possible for
you to order enlarged or additional
copies from our Certification
Services.

The SGS certification mark
may be used on the employees’

company business cards under
the following conditions:
the company that employs

the holder of the business
card must be certified
there should be no ambiguity
on the certification standards
there should be no suggestion
that the certification concerns
the holder of the business card.
02 OTHER COMMUNICATION MEDIA
You may use the certification mark on the communication media
of your choice: stationery, vehicles, websites, brochures and
advertising material, provided that they are directly related to the
certified companies and activities. You can also use the certification
mark with the certificate number.
The position of the logo can be integrated in your corporate identity.

You may use the certification mark on your website, provided that the
certification mark is used as an hypertext link from your website to the
following address: www.sgs.com/certifiedclients.

USE OF THE ACCREDITATION MARK

A company certified ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment)

or ISO 22000 (food safety) among others can also make reference
to the accreditation held by SGS. Example: UKAS (United Kingdom
Accreditation Services), SAS (Swiss Accreditation Services).

The accreditation mark should be used with the SGS certification

mark and both should be inserted within the same box. The
accreditation mark should either be smaller or of the same size as
the SGS certification mark and should include the SGS accreditation
number.

The accreditation mark cannot be used on flags, vehicles, crates,

outer packaging, advertising stickers and promotional products.
