From the assigned reading module write about 3 new things that you learned, 2
questions that you have and 1 realization/interest that sparked you in going
through this module. Use 500 words or more in doing this.
3 new things:
STD’s, (sexually transmitted illnesses) are diseases that are passed from one
person to another through sexual contact. This sexually transmitted disease are
caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi, protists and animals. Below are the diseases
that people should take care of:
The scope of the study indicates that urban areas are probably the high risk of
the STD’s in terms of the density of the population in an area and the behavior
according to the way of living, most are the teenagers and children, especially
girls, that are illegally exposed to sexual activities that may have the tendency to
transmit the disease by these sexual behaviors. Furthermore, this factors can
lead to more cases of infections, when a girl dates with men, the desire could be
dangerous if they're not careful, although adolescence should be guided by their
parents in terms of sexual activities and the harm they can get from it.
2 questions:
How STDs develop and carry in different sexual activities and behavior? Should
urban and even rural areas be aware of it? And how is that possible that a
teenager knows about sex at an early age?
How can we minimize the tendencies of having these STD diseases worldwide?
Does the desire of teenagers and children can affect their mental health?
Trauma?
1 realization/interest:
The study aims to conduct a prior knowledge about STDs which is a serious matter
nowadays, as a student, we must read more books and research about this topic to
enlighten our minds in terms of sex. These diseases are not as severe as the
breakdown of COVID19 but we should onto it, during lockdown, our sexual desire
becomes active and some are unstable, so in that situation, even if we cannot be
infected as the COVID19, the awareness, I think is a priority also especially at
puberty stage wherein teenagers and children are exposed to different sexual
activities, especially the influence of social media.
